Leading Infrastructure services provider, Keltbray Infrastructure Services Limited (“KISL”) today announces it has renamed and rebranded to AUREOS.
In August 2024 KISL was acquired by EMK Capital and embarked on a process to rename and rebrand itself, epitomising its role providing infrastructure services in the energy security and decarbonised transport sectors. The process was highly inclusive, involving employee engagement and customer feedback.
The new contemporary name, which broadly translates as ‘a new dawn’, reflects the company’s ambition to deliver sustainable energy and transport networks that support the transition to a low carbon future whilst improving societal connectivity.
Darren James, CEO, AUREOS, said: “This is an important time in the evolution of our company. As AUREOS we commit to all our stakeholders to always strive to be their first choice as ‘The leading infrastructure engineering services provider for the energy security and decarbonised transport sectors.’
“I am particularly pleased with the engagement of our extended team in choosing the new company name as we enter the next exciting phase of growth.”

Notes to editors:
1. Rationale behind AUREOS
AUREOS is an aspirational hybrid of ‘AURORA’ and ‘EOS’ and broadly translates as ‘A new dawn’. The word invokes value, quality, and excellence, which aligns well with our infrastructure service goals, where durability and reliability are paramount.
AUREOS implies a commitment to high-quality, value-creating infrastructure solutions that meet our sustainability commitments to our customers and society to create a greener, cleaner future.
2. Standard phonetic spelling of AUREOS
‘Or-ree-oss’
3. About AUREOS
The AUREOS Infrastructure Group primarily focuses on the Energy, Rail and Highways sectors. The business was initially established by Keltbray in 2009 with the acquisition of Gamble Rail.
Keltbray Infrastructure Services Limited (KISL) was acquired out of the Keltbray Group in August 2024.
Today it is a recognised industry leader, providing infrastructure services covering the design, installation, upgrading and maintenance of key strategic infrastructure to blue chip public and private sector clients in highly complex, regulated market sectors.
AUREOS has strategically positioned itself to benefit from the Global and UK Governments’ key priorities of decarbonisation, digitisation, energy security and the ‘Levelling Up’ Agenda.
