Esher, UK, 09/05/2024: Keltbray today announces that it has been awarded two long term positions on Network Rail’s Control Period 7 (CP7) Eastern Routes Partnership Framework, delivering Lot 3a Contact Systems (Generalist) and Lot 4a Distribution & Plant (Generalist). The framework covers the entirety of Network Rail’s Eastern region.
This multi-disciplined framework to decarbonise and improve the connectivity of the railway in the eastern region will deliver a broad range of projects of varying value. Keltbray will be responsible for undertaking the Generalist role for Lot 3a – Contact Systems and the Generalist role for Lot 4a Distribution & Plant in a joint venture with Linbrooke Services.
The Eastern Routes Partnership duration is five years with an estimated value of circa £250m for Keltbray. Network Rail have the option to extend in yearly increments for a further five years. Keltbray will be responsible for a broad scope of works, including, but not limited to:
Lot 3a – Generalist: Contact Systems | Lot 4a – Generalist: Distribution and Plant | |
– AC/DC contact systems works
– Structure renewal and refurbishment – OLE campaign changes – Mid-life refurbishment |
– HV traction distribution works
– Traction derived signalling power supplies – Lineside operational equipment and monitoring – Low voltage and control equipment |
