Esher, UK – 27 September, 2023: Keltbray, the UK’s leading specialist construction engineering and infrastructure services provider, today announces it has been appointed to two prestigious Yorkshire frameworks, alongside the award of three major renewable energy contracts in the East Anglia region, further showcasing the group’s growing reputation for technical expertise across key UK infrastructure sectors.
The contracts successfully secured include:
1. Three major projects within the renewable energy sector, located in East Anglia
Delivering Pathfinder Walpole Synchronous Condenser, East Anglia Converter Station and a major substation enabling works scheme in Norfolk.
The projects include a variety of works, encompassing earthworks, groundworks, access roads, structural steelwork and cladding, enhancing the renewable energy transition across the region via offshore wind generation and balancing of the grid via the Walpole Synchronous Condenser scheme.
The delivery of these contracts, collectively valued at +£50 million, aligns with Keltbray’s diverse portfolio of infrastructure projects currently in progress as part of the UK’s efforts to transition towards a more sustainable, resilient energy landscape with reduced carbon impact.
2. YORcivil3 Framework
Two significant lots within the four-year YORcivil3 Framework, covering Yorkshire – South and West. This framework underscores Keltbray’s commitment to delivering excellence in infrastructure development and construction projects across the region, covering Barnsley, Leeds, Sheffield, Derbyshire, and more.
Keltbray’s continuing participation in this framework further showcases the value of its integrated delivery model in serving local authorities and their stakeholders, by contributing to the development and upkeep of vital infrastructure across the region, including transport networks, public realm, drainage and flood alleviation and environmental enhancement projects.
3. Procure Partnerships Framework in Yorkshire Region
Leveraging its expertise in roads, motorways, rail, bridges, tunnelling, soft and hard landscaping, and public realm works, Keltbray will serve a wide range of clients under the framework, collaborating with various local communities in the Yorkshire Area. The framework commences in November 2023 for a duration of four years.
The Procure Partnerships Framework represents a new route to market, allowing Keltbray to provide essential infrastructure solutions for projects with values ranging from £5 million to £15 million. Keltbray will collaborate with Procure Partnerships to deliver projects for a diverse clientele, including Academic Institutions, Emergency Services, NHS Bodies, Local Authorities, Registered Charities, Government Departments, Libraries, and Museums.
